Are you a visionary designer ready to redefine the in-store experience for a beloved global brand? We're seeking a talented Designer to join our client's Store Design and Visual Merchandising team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in crafting innovative visual concepts and retail design solutions that captivate customers and bring the brand's essence to life across all channels. Your creativity and strategic thinking will directly influence how customers interact with the brand, driving engagement and elevating the retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Support the development and execution of innovative design solutions based on global brand strategy and design intent, entering numerous project phases from concepting and design stages to obtaining approvals and seeing all projects to completion under the Design Director.

* Participate in the development of design concepts across various retail channels, including freestanding stores, specialized retail spaces, and department store environments.

* Support the creation of compelling presentation materials for design concepts.

* Execute the development of merchandising and technical guidelines as a reference for regional design teams.

* Demonstrate a strong understanding of materials, cost, and time requirements for projects.

* Review fixture and unit shop drawings and vendor flow to ensure design details are accurate and meet global brand standards.

* Participate in seasonal store visits in the home region to maintain knowledge of new, trending store experiences.

* Actively research current trends in global culture, retail design, fashion, art, and more, bringing inspirational contributions and design ideas to weekly brainstorm sessions.

* Be open to flexing to support various team needs as required, including visual merchandising initiatives and events.

Qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in industrial design, visual merchandising, store planning/design, event design, or related experience.

* Strong ability to conceptualize spatial designs and effectively take design direction.

* Familiarity with freestanding stores, department stores, open-sell formats, and specialized retail environment design and execution.

* Must thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and be able to work both independently and closely under the management of a Design Director.

* Demonstrated understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, cost, and time requirements on projects.

* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills to stay aligned with the greater team and operations.

* Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and a 3D modeling/rendering program of choice.

* Able to work well in a team environment and receive input from others, discuss/defend design solutions, and remain flexible in finding solutions.
