Insight Global are seeking an Industrial Electrical Technician to support a leading organisation within the industrial and commercial equipment sector.

This opportunity will require 5 days a week onsite in Memphis, Tennessee (USA) for a 9‑month contract .

This Industrial Electrical Technician will support the installation, calibration, testing, and maintenance of advanced industrial electrical systems. The role is essential for ensuring the safety, reliability, and overall performance of high‑tech equipment used across a fast‑paced operational environment. The successful candidate will be adept at troubleshooting, interpreting engineering documents, and performing hands‑on electrical work with precision and quality.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities Include:

• Designing, developing, and testing the manufacture of electrical equipment including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting
• Evaluating the cost‑effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models
• Estimating time and resource requirements for project completion
• Simulating and testing machine, structure, or system operations
• Investigating and testing vendor and competitor product performance

Must‑Have Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Strong creativity, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to sketch and create engineering drawings
• Competency in performing detailed calculations to support manufacturing, construction, and installation standards
• Strong understanding of electrical theory and its application within engineering projects
• Previous experience with computer‑based engineering applications and design software
• Basic leadership and mentoring capabilities
