Northern Sales Company, a trusted name in Anchorage for over 60 years, is seeking motivated Warehouse Forklift Operators to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play an essential role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, organized, and prepared for next-day delivery. Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and sort customer orders in a dry warehouse environment.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Assist with replenishing warehouse stock and sorting customer orders for delivery as needed.
• Communicate any discrepancies or damaged merchandise to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
• Prioritize and perform multiple tasks to meet daily deadlines and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area, following all safety guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience operating forklifts and working in warehouse distribution preferred; willingness to learn considered.
• Familiarity with warehouse flow and distribution processes preferred.
• Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Commitment to following safety rules and guidelines.

Compensation

$18.00 per hour
