Job Description

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered experienced, but still a learner.
  • Ability to obtain US Secret Security Clearance
  • Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts on US Government programs
  • Ability and willingness to travel to supplier facilities to participate in negotiations/meetings and to resolve subcontract/program issues on-site, as needed.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and suppliers to achieve desired program objectives.

You will be the Subcontract Management for the Tactical Missiles Advanced Programs (TMAP) team. Our team is responsible for securing the future of the company and warfighter through program and product development.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management you will be responsible for overseeing moderate‑to‑high‑risk development subcontracts, acting as the primary liaison between Lockheed Martin and our suppliers, and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Your Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

  • Submit LEAN requests for approval and track hardware receipt for multiple AP programs.
  • Lead cross‑functional Subcontract Management Teams.
  • Administer the procurement cycle from request for proposal to purchase order closeout.
  • Prepare and issue RFPs, evaluate proposals, and negotiate price, terms, and conditions.
  • Manage supplier relationships, cost, schedule, and performance issues.

  • Contract/TINA negotiations experience
  • Experience with Cost Plus, Fixed Price and T&M subcontract types
  • Ability to operate in and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • P2P, SAP Experience
  • Control Account Management (CAM) Experience
  • Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering, as they relate to subcontract management.
  • Excellent communications, negotiations, presentation, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to create and present using Microsoft Office tools.
