Job Description

Supreme Industries is looking for a Safety Manager who brings a strong field presence and a proactive mindset to safety. This role is critical to supporting our crews in upstate New York and around the area - ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our standards and values. If you’re someone who leads from the front, connects well with field teams, and takes pride in building a strong safety culture - not just enforcing rules - this is the opportunity to make an impact .

Location : position will support our mid-Atlantic region including projects in PA, VA, WV, and NC. Ideal candidate can live in any of these areas as long as he/she is able to regularly travel to all operations within the region.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings and coach crews on hazard recognition and safe work practices
  • Conduct field safety audits and reinforce a behavior-based safety culture
  • Deliver HSE training and ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1926) and company standards
  • Support incident investigations , root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Maintain safety documentation including training records, inspections, and incident reports
  • Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to continuously improve safety performance
  • Ensure readiness of safety equipment and first aid supplies across job sites

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction or industrial safety experience
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage field personnel
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license

Highly Preferred Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field
  • Safety Certifications such as CHST or CSP
  • Experience in heavy civil, utilities, ROW, or pipeline work is a strong plus
