Project Manager

The Project Manager is in charge of holistically managing projects, specifically the schedule, plan compliance, and budget, while communicating effectively with clients, trade partners, and team members.

Skills & Experience:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of construction procedures, building systems, and tools
  • Ability to solve problems and work under pressure
  • Knowledgeable in reading plans, shop drawings, and specifications
  • Excellent math and computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with workers, trades, and clients.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, Bluebeam, and Excel

Important responsibilities for a Project Manager include:

  • Preference for residential custom experience, and comfortable with Project Management Software (like Buildertrend)
  • Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
  • Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
  • Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
  • Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple units are assigned to the same project, to ensure team actions remain in synergy
  • Communicating with clients to keep the project aligned with their expectations and desires
  • Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected
  • Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed,or financing for the project.
