Job Description

Temporary to Direct Hire, Payroll Administrator opportunity available in Yonkers, NY supporting a very well-known Construction Firm. This is a Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm position, fully onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Process weekly union/non-union payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain payroll records including deductions, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax withholdings.
• Reconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll audits, and preparation of payroll reports
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and timekeeping
• Collect Sign-In Logs and Timesheets. Ensure employee name, hours, and job site match company records.
• Resolve payroll-related matters

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 4 years of Union Payroll experience
• Must have experience working within the Construction industry
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations and wage & hour laws
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
