About The Role:

The Likewise Partners Office Manager will serve as the central point of coordination for all administrative, operational, and support functions in our small office. This versatile role combines traditional office management with light HR, basic bookkeeping support, project coordination assistance, and vendor management. You will keep our team productive, our office running smoothly, and our development professionals focused on creating value through real estate projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies procurement, vendor communication, mail coordination, and office organization
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, book travel, and coordinate both internal team and external stakeholder (investors, contractors, municipalities, architects, engineers) appointments
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, phone calls, emails, and general inquiries; maintain professional and welcoming front-of-house presence
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain digital filing systems for contracts, due diligence materials, entitlement documents, leases, insurance certificates, and project records
  • Assist with basic financial tasks: process expense reports, code and submit invoices for approval, track vendor payments and project costs, and assist with conformance to corporate budget.
  • Support light HR functions: onboarding/offboarding of employees and contractors, maintain personnel files, coordinate benefits administration, track PTO, and ensure compliance with basic employment policies
  • Assist development team with administrative aspects of projects: prepare offers, compile due diligence packages, schedule inspections/site visits, and track critical dates
  • Help prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for leadership, investors, lenders, and municipal submissions
  • Plan and coordinate occasional team events, lunches, off-site meetings, or client hospitality

  • 3–7+ years of experience in office management, administrative support, or operations roles—ideally in real estate, construction, development, architecture, engineering, or a related professional services field
  • Proven ability to work independently in a small-office environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, and reliable service to coworkers and partners. Ability to respond to issues.
  • Strength in both written and verbal communication. Strong time management capabilities. Ability to work with multiple collaborators.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with Adobe, Salesforce, and QuickBooks a plus.
