Licensed Loan Partner- Full-Time, Virtual

We’re looking for an experienced Loan Partner who understands the loan process from application all the way until submission to processing. You can confidently prequalify borrowers, structure loans with care and precision, and help clients get mortgage-ready, all while enjoying the stability of a salaried position without all the pressure of generating your own career.

You’ll be responsible for focusing on clients who are applying for a loan, reviewing income, credit, and documentation, structuring loans, converting and retaining clients, and creating the level of trust and consistency that allows the Loan Officer to focus on growing the business.

This Loan Partner role requires an expert in qualifying clients and structuring loans. You are a hardworking, detail-oriented team player who ensures that every borrower feels cared for and confident through each step of the process.  Delivering an outstanding client experience is a must in this role.

Compensation:

$65,000 - $75,000 base + performance-based bonus opportunities

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct loan consultations, prequalify borrowers, and structure loan scenarios to help clients become mortgage-ready
  • Review income, credit, assets, and supporting documentation to determine loan eligibility and prepare accurate pre-approvals
  • Guide borrowers through the loan process while delivering an exceptional client experience and maintaining strong communication
  • Collect, organize, and review documentation to ensure complete and accurate files before submission to processing
  • Build trust with clients and referral partners. Be a resource with proactive follow-up, timely updates, and professional communication
  • Manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining accuracy, organization, and a strong sense of urgency
  • Execute borrower updates, pre-closing, and funding calls
  • Ensure loans close on time
  • Resolve loan issues prior to LO escalation
  • Work closely with the Loan Officer to help convert, retain, and support borrowers while keeping the pipeline moving smoothly
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years mortgage experience with strong mortgage expertise as a client-facing Loan Partner or Loan Officer
  • Active NMLS license. Licensed in Florida and Connecticut, or willing to obtain
  • Proven ability to conduct loan consultations, qualify borrowers, and convert clients into active homebuyers
  • Demonstrated ownership mentality with the ability to work independently and move files forward without constant oversight
  • Deep understanding of Conventional and various loan guidelines
  • Experience with DU/DO and structuring borrower scenarios
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage documentation, disclosures and pipeline flow
  • Ability to analyze tax returns, W2s, and all types of self-employment income
  • Excellent with clients and referral partners. You love being on a great team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Clients and agents love talking to you.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive follow-up and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
  • Can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to timely communication
  • Loves processes and systems.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in Loan Software, CRM, and digital communication tools
