Join our South Lyon Senior Care & Rehab team!

The Housekeeping Aide performs a variety of tasks to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for all residents. Responsibilities include daily and weekly housekeeping activities as well as inside and outside housekeeping projects.

You will earn: $16.00 per hour to start
  • Starting Wages $15.15 per hour

We can work with your scheduling needs:
  • 8 hour shifts - All shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
  • Part Time
  • Days Shift / Mornings


How you will help people every day:

  • Sort soiled linen, load and unload washers and dryers.
  • Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures.
  • Sort and fold clean linen accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Place clean linen in a delivery cart and deliver to appropriate units, using caution when pushing carts.
  • Dust mop and damp mop resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, sitting and lobby areas, and other areas as assigned.
  • Collect and properly dispose of trash and soiled linen.
  • Mix and handle chemicals in a safe manner.
  • Strip and refinish floors, clean and shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean blinds, as assigned.


What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel.
