Position: Director of Corporate Product Training

Company: NAPCO Security Technologies, a worldwide leader in the design and manufacturing of reliable, innovative solutions for physical security, access control, locking, cellular communications, sub-GHz wireless communications, cloud-based systems and commercial fire protection for residential, commercial & institutional premises and campuses for over 50 years, headquartered in Amityville, Long Island NY, seeks a Director of Corporate Product Training. This role emphasizes hands-on instruction through lab environments, real-world simulations, and field-based learning.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and leading technical training programs focused on the installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of security hardware.
• Design and build scalable training programs and labs for integrators, field technicians, parters, and internal teams.
• Lead a team of trainers, lab engineers, instructional designers, and certification specialists.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to translate hardware changes into updated training content.
• Support Sales with hardware demos, workshops, and installer boot camps.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in security hardware training, field engineering, or technical enablement.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion devices, wiring standards, and communication protocols.
• Deep industry experience excelling at translating hardware complexity into practical, effective training.
• Experience designing and managing hardware training labs including a background working with integrators, installers, or field technicians.
• Proven experience building hands‑on and lab‑based training programs.
• Strong at managing labs, equipment, and logistics.
• Excellent instructional design and technical communication skills.
