Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our healthcare team for a long-term contract opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and experienced in working with advanced imaging equipment across diverse patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures using radiation detection and imaging equipment
  • Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Provide safe, compassionate care to patients of all age groups, from newborns to elderly individuals
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions
  • Follow established protocols, safety standards, and radiation protection guidelines
  • Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness
  • Complete required competencies within the designated onboarding period
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Certified/Registered CT Technologist (ARRT or equivalent preferred)
  • Active state license (if required)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in CT imaging preferred
  • Strong knowledge of radiologic technology and CT procedures
  • Ability to work night shifts (3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • BLS certification (preferred)

  • 12-week contract position
  • Shift is 12 hrs/night (7 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hrs/week
  • Location is Detroit, MI 48235
  • Pay Range for Locals: $52 - $56 per hour
