Job Title: Paralegal / Corporate Risk Specialist (Contract-to-Hire)

Location (city, state): Denver, CO (Onsite)

Industry: Technology / Logistics / Legal & Risk Management

Pay: $85,000 – $90,000 annually (hourly equivalent)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal / Corporate Risk Specialist to support legal and risk operations. This role will focus on investigating claims, coordinating with third parties, and assisting legal leadership with ongoing projects. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone early in their legal career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and investigate claims related to transportation and logistics incidents
  • Gather and analyze documentation to assess liability and support case resolution
  • Communicate with external partners, including vendors and insurance carriers
  • Track and manage multiple cases, ensuring timely follow-up and organization
  • Provide research and project support to legal leadership as needed

Qualifications:

  • JD (recent graduates encouraged to apply) or Paralegal certification
  • Basic understanding of insurance concepts (e.g., general liability, auto, cargo)
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Interest in AI tools or legal technology is a plus
  • Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable handling both complex and repetitive tasks
