Mammography Technologist Contract

Location: Edwards, CO

Pay Rate: $70.00 $72.00/hr

Contract: 13 weeks

Experience: Minimum 1 year

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract in Edwards, CO. This is a great opportunity for a Mammo Tech with strong breast imaging experience and knowledge of MQSA and ACR guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography and breast imaging procedures
• Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound, and breast ultrasound biopsy
• Follow MQSA, ACR, HIPAA, and radiation safety standards
• Review exam orders, patient information, and clinical details for accuracy
• Operate mammography and stereotactic imaging equipment
• Perform and document quality control checks
• Educate patients before, during, and after breast imaging procedures
• Review images for technical accuracy and present completed exams to the radiologist
• Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and procedure charges
• Support department workflow, inventory, and patient care coordination

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of mammography or healthcare experience preferred
• ARRT with Mammography certification ARRT(M) required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Active state license required
• Knowledge of breast anatomy, breast imaging protocols, and radiation safety
• Experience with mammography, stereotactic procedures, and quality control preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work day shifts,
• Strong communication, patient care, and documentation skills
