Role Description

The Assistant to the Executive Director is a full-time, on-site role located in Wilmington, DE. The individual in this role will provide administrative support to the Executive Director, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and handling communications. The Assistant will also contribute to office administration tasks, maintain records, organize documentation and assist with special projects. Collaboration and efficient multitasking will be key components of daily responsibilities, as well as fostering effective communication between the Executive Director and other staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong Communication skills, including verbal, written and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven experience in Administrative Assistance and Office Administration
  • Effective Organization Skills to manage schedules, documentation and tasks
  • Analytical Skills for problem-solving and supporting decision-making processes
  • Proficiency in office software, such as Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with scheduling tools
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion
  • High attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication or a related field is a requirement and must have managed in healthcare for at least two years
