Job Description

We are partnering with a growing commercial construction organization seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support active projects across the Phoenix market.

This role is for someone who has strong coordination skills and attention to detail, and is looking to build a long-term career in construction project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling and execution of commercial projects
• Act as a liason between subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to track progress
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and progress updates
• Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Assist with procurement and material tracking
• Help resolve jobsite issues to maintain timelines
• Participate in project meetings and track follow-ups
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of experience in construction project coordination for a commercial General Contractor
• Must be able to understand and read plans
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar is a plus
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
